Antrim Coast

Whilst in Northern Ireland we took the opportunity to drive up to the Giant's Causeway and back down the coast to Larne, before cutting inland to complete our return journey. These are just a few shots that I took on the day

To my way of thinking, the Giant's Causeway is a very much larger scale of basalt landscape than that on view in Staffa, at "the other end" of this feature, and we were very pleased to have made the effort to get up there and have a look, on a very cold but bright day. Pictures of Staffa can be seen here on my Mull landscapes page.
