This elusive little butterfly has a very restricted range, across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. I finally made the time to track it down in Oxfordshire in 2005, and this picture was taken in early July at Bernwood Meadows nature reserve a few miles east of Oxford.
