These lovely birds returned to Cornwall in 2001, and since 2002 have reared some 20 young from the original nest site at the Lizard, where the RSPB run a "Chough Watch" from April through to July. Last year, a second breeding pair raised 3 young, at a second site. The first five pictures were taken in early April 2007.
The bottom two were taken in April 2009, and are of the same birds in the 2007 pictures. They are the only choughs in Cornwall that have not been ringed.
