One of, if not the first orchid to flower each year, the little Early Spider Orchid is often overlooked. Growing on short turf on chalk or limestone, it is only found in the south of the country, in Kent, Sussex and Dorset. These plants were growing beside paths in the meadows at Durlston Country Park, Swanage.
