Generally confined to the Isle of Wight, this butterfly is generally thought to be at the nothernmost limit of it's range in the UK. These shots were taken on the mainland, at the one site generally thought to be a natural occurence, rather than an introduction, Hordle Cliff outside Christchurch in Hampshire. Word has it that they were seen again at Weston-Super-Mare this year.
