Man Orchid gets its name from the shape of the individual flowers, each with bonnet, body, arms and legs, and it is easy
to see why. Far less widespread than formerly, this beautiful flower has its best populations in in Surrey and Kent. There are a few sites
in Hampshire, Sussex, Essex, Suffolk and Northamptonshire. It is very local but you may come across it in the Cotswolds.
