At last a couple of pictures of a wild British otter, down on the Somerset levels. I went hoping to see them, and then move on to try and take some pictures of a Hoopoe which has been lurking near some farm buildings for over a week. Inevitably it took much longer to get a glimpse of the otter than I had hoped, and the Hoopoe did not get a visit! Maybe next time.
