Small Pearl Bordered Fritillary

This butterfly, whilst more widespread than the Pearl Bordered Fritillary, has undergone a fairly catastrophic decline in England, but is doing better in Scotland and Wales. This is thought to be largely due to habitat changes in lowland eastern and southern England.
