Violet Helleborine is often found, as here, growing in the deeper shaded areas in a wood, often in quite a prominent position, beside a path. Although quite similar in appearance to the Broad Leaved Helleborine, the stem and leaves of this plant develop a characteristic violet hue. This plant was found at the end of July in Worcestershire.
